I bought this Pyramid 40Litre bag from SLUK 6 months back, and decided to use it for a bit before submitting a review. It was a toss up between this and the Tucano Urbano bag, and there was more info on the Pyramid website for this one, hence I chose it.
It gets weekly use doing the shopping run for 2 people, and can take £50 worth of shopping at a discount German supermarket chain, which is a LOT of stuff. When full, I can only just lift the bag.
PROS
A) comes with a should strap for light weight but bulk items.
B) the 4 tie down straps it comes with are of decent quality and it is not necessary to substitute them for Rok Straps.
C) On a 125cc scooter, I can strap it down across the pillion seat, attaching to the footrests and my rear rack. This leaves the latter free for a tent etc etc.. See photo. I find this position to be good, in that the weight is mid bike, and I can feel it is still there whilst on a dual carriageway, and not have to worry it is 10 miles back lying on the hard shoulder(!)
D) a seperate 20 litre bag can be purchased which piggy backs this one and would be a good place to put stuff you might need to get to easily on a ride, such as an essential coffee flask and a sandwich, wallet etc etc.. The 60 litre capacity combined should cater for a rally weekend IMO.
E) the air release vent is a great idea, so you can squash the bag down to its smallet size.
F) completely waterproof- I have done several 3 hour rides in torrential rain and nothing got wet. You just have to remember to roll the bag top the right way (see Pyramid website).
G) really well made-I have used mine a lot and it still looks like the day I bought it.

All in all 10/10. SLUK’s service was really great too, and their delivery would give sportsbike shop a run for their money.
