What is in the kit?

• Quad Lock style ‘Twist and Lock’ phone holder
• Anti-vibration dampener
• 3M self-adhesive mounting base that can be attached to the phone
• Stainless steel bracket
• 2 stainless steel 6mm bolts
• 2 stainless steel washers
• 1 stainless steel spacer
• 1 stainless steel nylock nut
• 2 allen keys

What will it fit?

If your scooter or motorcycle has an exposed master cylinder clamped onto your handlebars (many do), you should be able to use our universal phone holder.

Many scooters/motorcycles have a master cylinder with a curved clamp that is secured to the handlebars by two 6mm bolts; the clamps typically have 32mm centres. Our holder is designed to be mounted on that curved bracket. We’ve slotted our aluminium bracket so it can be used with clamps from 32 mm to 42 mm.

Classic scooter instead?

Fitting

Follow the instructions on the images in the gallery, or read this…

1. Attach anti-vibration mount to angled bracket using supplied washer and nyloc nut. You will need an 8mm spanner or socket for the nut. Make sure this is very tight and check tightness periodically.
2. Place the star-shaped plastic piece onto the blue lever, then, using the larger allen key, attach it to the anti-vibration dampener using the allen bolt supplied. Again, make sure this is tight and check it periodically.
3. Undo and remove the two bolts holding your master cylinder clamp onto your handlebars. Fix your new bracket to the master cylinder clamp using the longer screws provided (use the two spacers between the angled bracket and clamp). Periodically check bolts for tightness. SLUK can’t be held responsible for a mount/phone that falls off!
4.  Clean the rear of your phone and stick the self-adhesive connector to it.
5. Undo and remove the two bolts holding your master cylinder clamp onto your handlebars. Fix your new bracket to the master cylinder clamp using the longer screws provided (use the two spacers between the angled bracket and clamp). Periodically check bolts for tightness.
