Description
The SLUK Guard simply locates on the bottom edge of the mudguard and uses automotive-grade double-sided 3M tape to attach it whilst you drill 2 (or 4 – depending on choice) small holes for the stainless steel 4mm self-tappers (supplied). Alternatively, you can fit using plastic number plate bolts, stainless bolts with nylon nuts or rivet them on. Images shown pre-drilling.
SLUK Guard comes in a choice of colours to blend in with, or enhance, your scooter’s looks and should help protect it against that dreaded Vespa corrosion.
Fitting video
To fix: Simply clean the inside of the mudguard thoroughly along the bottom edge using an alcohol wipe (or similar) and let it dry, peel off the green backing for the double-sided tape and fix the edge to the inner edge of the mudguard. Then use the supplied drill bit to drill holes (2 or 4 it’s up to you) and fix using the self-tappers (supplied).
Don’t want to drill? Some customers fit our SLUK Guards using Silkoflex (or similar) so that’s an option but always ensure the Guard is fitted properly.

SLUK Catcher
The rear inner frame of a Vespa GTS has very little paint covering it and it takes a battering from any road spray/salt or debris thrown up by the rear wheel.
This simple product will help to stop the rot around your rear light by keeping the muck and moisture away from the metal, whilst still allowing the frame to dry out naturally.
SLUK Catcher is designed to massively reduce spray from the rear wheel and is one of our best-selling items.
The SLUK Catcher – Frame Guard is designed to fit discreetly, once fitted you won’t know it’s there.
To fit, simply remove the nuts holding your number plate on, position the SLUK Catcher inside the frame with the three pre-drilled holes locating over your number plate screws and fasten the nuts back up.
We suggest using some corrosion protection spray before fitting the SLUK Catcher to give some added protection.
SLUK Catcher is designed to fit perfectly but allows an air gap to prevent moisture being trapped between it and the frame.
We’ve made this item to fit as closely as possible to the rear mudguard without touching it under load. If you’re a particularly heavy rider, or are heavily loaded on soft suspension settings then you may need to trim the inner radius of the SLUK Catcher slightly to allow extra clearance around the rear mudguard. This can easily be done with a Dremel or similar tool.
