Description
SLUK Catcher
The rear inner frame of a Vespa GTS has very little paint covering it and it takes a battering from any road spray/salt or debris thrown up by the rear wheel.
This simple product will help to stop the rot around your rear light by keeping the muck and moisture away from the metal, whilst still allowing the frame to dry out naturally.
SLUK Catcher is designed to massively reduce spray from the rear wheel and is one of our best-selling items.
The SLUK Catcher – Frame Guard is designed to fit discreetly, once fitted you won’t know it’s there.
To fit, simply remove the nuts holding your number plate on, position the SLUK Catcher inside the frame with the three pre-drilled holes locating over your number plate screws and fasten the nuts back up.
We suggest using some corrosion protection spray before fitting the SLUK Catcher to give some added protection.
SLUK Catcher is designed to fit perfectly but allows an air gap to prevent moisture being trapped between it and the frame.
We’ve made this item to fit as closely as possible to the rear mudguard without touching it under load. If you’re a particularly heavy rider, or are heavily loaded on soft suspension settings then you may need to trim the inner radius of the SLUK Catcher slightly to allow extra clearance around the rear mudguard. This can easily be done with a Dremel or similar tool.
This product was suggested to us by a SLUK reader who wanted something to help prevent the rear of his GTS rusting out. If you have any practical product ideas of your own let us know, if we make it you’ll get a free one for yourself. Email: Editorial@ScooterLab.UK

Purchased as extra prevention.Item looks as it will save most of the dirt thrown by the rear wheel.Come to fit and it seems the number plate pins are not long enough. So I’ll have to get some longer pins and then fit it. This is for the 23 new gts.At moment only 2 stars.Has anybody had this problem with the 23 model.

We have since started sending longer bolts out with these. The problem is that some scooters come with the original number plate surround fitted but most dealers don’t use them. If used the original bolts were slightly too short.
