This crankshaft design is characterised by two factors compared to the crankshafts of other manufacturers:

• Balancing factor: We don’t cut corners here, and the balancing factor, which is specially calculated for the weight of the Lambretta pistons, ensures silk-smooth and low-vibration running. We work with solid tungsten weights (50 grams per crank web), additional copper weights and hidden pockets.
• Full circle / HPC (High Primary Compression) crank: This is the next unique selling point for your Lambretta engine. This feature delivers more power across the complete rev range thanks to the increased pre-compression.

Other features include:

• Ground pressing surfaces for maximum stability of the joint and therefore maximum safety against twisting
• Grounded and coated crankpin
• Forged connecting rod with CNC finishing
• Hardened and grounded bearing and shaft seal seats
• Full circle crankshaft for increased pre-compression and more power
• Forged crank webs
• Low-vibrating engine thanks to sophisticated balancing with hidden pockets, copper and tungsten balancing weights
• Lubrication of the lower connecting rod bearing via two large lubrication slots
