I hate wet cold hands..And, I didn’t want the faff of heated grip fitting and untidy wiring. Therefore, these were a luxury purchase, and my second pair of Tucano Urbano gloves. Idea was to always have a warm dry pair of gloves in the under seat helmet bucket. A notable feature of these gloves over the Storming model, is the visor wipe tool on the left glove thumb. Not as good as a proper Vee Wipe, but smaller and neater, and aids clearing visor rainwater, (if you wear a full face helmet), aiding visibility.

Cold wet hands spoil the wonderous enjoyment of scootering. I couldn’t be arsed with fitting heated grips and untidy wiring, so as a ‘luxury’, I now keep a spare warm and dry set of gloves in my underseat helmet bucket. Ideal for those long rides which start out dry then the heavens open, and it rains all the way back too. For the extra £5 more than the Tucano Urbano ‘Storming’ gloves, these integrate a small visor/goggle wiping implement on the left thumb. It isn’t as good/as effective as the proper Vee Wipe, but it still makes a welcome difference to vision in the rain. Usual swift service from SLUK Shop.
